The Bay and more recently at Karaka Café in Wellington.
Kake has his own business, Kaikai Limited. He is currently developing an extensive range of indigenous cuisine products utilising Rongoā Māori.
Kake enjoys every opportunity to return to his homelands in Rarotonga and Aitutaki.
Our passions:
Since the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Ria Te Uira o te Aorangi in 2010, we have thoroughly embraced the joys of parenthood and all the learning that she brings.
Kake and Sharlene had the priviledge of being trained and mentored by the late Te Awhina Riwaka who stimulated their passion for Rongoå Måori and the power of
traditional health and wellbeing. From this the culmination of all of their knowledge and desire, has come forth in the establishment of ONE – a traditional Maori wellness
studio situated in the heart of Waikanae.
They have gathered a team of ‘like-hearted’ people around them who share the same philosophy of the power of Rongoå to guide the people to health through unity.
In essence, ONE has been born of MokoPuna Solutions. ONE carries the same intent in people achieving their full potential through their wellbeing.
Outside of work, balance comes when Sharlene is….walking on the beach, being with Ria when she goes on new adventures, catching up with friends over kai, going to art
movies, learning new wellness modalities, being among plant life, writing stories, creating and dreaming about the future….
Kake loves food, loud music, good company, going to the movies, meeting interesting – like-minded people, spending time with his girls and family, being thoughtful,
sharing wisdom and being spontaneous.
